Martha was the perfect partner in crime at Madison, Cooper and Texas Tech. You had to be careful about the ideas you put in her head. Not too much was beyond the scope of what she was willing to carry out. If I thought a ploy was too far-fetched or inappropriate, her response was, "C'mon! Let's go!!!" She didn't care about consequences - it was all about fun. There were plenty of times I backed out, but not her. I'd sit back and watch her in action thinking, "I can't believe she just did that!" She was one spunky gal. Fortunately, she also had a moral code.
Praying for the family as I know she will be missed, but also rejoicing that Martha is finally well.
I was very sad to hear about Martha. I have many fond memories of her. She was a kind and thoughtful person. She was one of the few people that pop into my mind occasionally, even to this day. My prayers are with her family.
I first met Martha in 5th grade and later in her life I was her physician. Smiles and serious. I think she asked for my last time of the day so we could talk! Like all of you, I will miss her but I will smile whenever I think of her
