We all remember Kim s great zest for life and his great smile. Many of us who ran with Kim in our high school years remember as well a warm welcome at his parents home.
God speed my friend,..May God bless you and your loved ones
Sincerely,

Ah the memories of the summers of 1967 and 1968! Kim, Alan Swagerty, and I spent both summers fishing, camping, and exploring different areas. Possum Kingdom was our sanctuary. Even after I got married to Pam, Kim, Alan, Larry, and John Doss brought us our first little Christmas Tree with all of the trimmings. Now Kim and Alan are both gone, John hasn't been heard from, and it's just Larry that is still in the mix. Great memories with Kim and I will miss him a lot.

I too spent so much time with Kim at both his Abilene home and his father's home in Austin during HS.  Sad that I never reconnected with him in all these decades.  We enjoyed many a shenanigan with Swag, Greg Hill, you Mike, John D, and even Eddie Dempsey (a grade younger but part of the mile relay pack that got 5th in state in '70).

Doss was in Dripping Springs (just west of Austin) for many years and we crossed paths a couple of times there between '94 and '07 when we lived there.  He was still active in home building, as was I, during that time.  I will never forget getting the phone call from Alan's mom in '77 when he was killed in a car wreck.  It was a very cold and somber day in Abilene when I served as head pall bearer.  He and I were inseparable at A&M after he graduated in '74 and stayed there working after declining commission as a military pilot. I was back from Europe and finishing school there '75-'78.  Great times but sooo long ago. See you all next year at our 50th...
